And when she turns around, it’s Madison Clark. Someone else arrives in the nick of time to save Morgan and Mo. They accuse him of stealing their children. A mob of people take Mo away from Morgan and plan to bury him on the beach. When he opens the raft cover, someone hits him over the head. He calls for Grace ( Karen David), saying Mo needs her. Later that night, Morgan and Mo are in the raft. Ava says that place is not safe for kids. She tells Morgan that he needs to leave but he says he can’t leave until he finds his family. Ava is calling out to someone named Jim on the radio because she just found out she’s pregnant. Morgan finds a house where he meets Ava (Lyndon Smith). The walker heads are the only part sticking out of the sand. He walks on the beach where several walkers are buried in the sand. Morgan puts some music on for the baby and heads out to find food. Morgan tied up the raft between two trees so they could sleep safely. Morgan sailed away with Baby Mo a couple of episodes ago. Then they can give this person what they really want. But only if they are willing to do what needs to be done. A man’s voice comes over a radio and says they can help this person. The episode starts off with someone in a hood who is breathing funny. RELATED: Fear the Walking Dead Recap (S07E15): Amina SAFETY Last week Alycia Debnam-Carey said goodbye to Fear the Walking Dead. Madison Clark ( Kim Dickens) returns to the Fear Family in the season seven finale. In “Gone,” Morgan ( Lennie James) encounters a new ally while looking for a safe place for Mo ( Avaya White) and the others. I do hope that the next season of Fear The Walking Dead has a new vision, storytelling, scripting, and a better directed batch of episodes. No one is really gone until they’re gone on Fear the Walking Dead. I wish I can say that Fear is on a good momentum, but they are not. There was a ton of wasted potential all season long with little to no character development outside of Dwight and Sherry. What worked on the previous season’s storytelling in the anthology format did not work on this season. Fear The Walking Dead’s seventh season will be remembered as one of the most disappointing and forgettable season of Fear. However, I was not impressed with what we got from Madison outside of her and Morgan’s interactions. I know that will be explored during season 8 of Fear. There were many times when I watched this episode where I had a question for every little answer we got about Madison. But are we going to suddenly forget the awful storytelling for this season? Additionally, this episode was all over the place. This can rub Fear fans the wrong way with the way her arc is going. What is the story reasoning to have her come back with this plot? over 700 missing children are due to her and the group she is part of. ![]() Madison coming back as a child trafficker is not something I had in my bingo card for Fear. Now that I said my positives, here are my critiques. Lennie James and Kim Dickens put on a very believable performance during the finale and I want to see more scenes with these two characters. I realized now that Morgan and Madison never interacted before. As for the episode itself, I thought it was really solid. Instead, she returned one episode after Alicia’s final episode. That is because all season long, we were baited to believe that she would return during this mess of the “war” but that did not happen. As much as I like Madison, this return did not feel like a big deal for me. It took until this year’s finale of Fear for the popular character to return. But this is not the same Madison from where we last saw her a few seasons ago. Madison is officially back on Fear The Walking Dead. ![]()
